A ceremony to unveil a plaque commentating the arrival of the first 6 ships to Taranaki was held on 6th August 2015.

They were the:

"William Bryan" 31st March 1841

"Amelia Thompson" 3rd September 1841

"Oriental" 7th November 1841

"Timandra" 23rd February 1842

"Blenheim" 19th November 1842

"Essex" 20th January 1842
