Several members of the Auckland Branch visited Highwic to enjoy baking from an authentic coal range.  Highwic volunteers baked Ginger Gems, Boiled Fruit Loaf, a vegan Lemon Drizzle Cake, Chocolate Chip Oaty Biscuits, all recipes from old Highwic recipes. Highwic has a wonderful collection of vintage irons ranging from light-weight to extremely heavy versions.
